For 6 months, the squatters appear to have been running prostitution, distributing drugs and manufacturing drugs.

Attempts to get the Seattle Police involved have not been successful, nor has asking Maple Leaf Property Management, who caused this issue, to assist with private security. However, we are hoping a major recent breakthrough will help. On Monday, June 15th, we noticed one of the squatters was rinsing down the back fence of 1221, as well as the sidewalk. They totally saturated the fence and the area. I saw them out there for at least an hour, but a neighbor stated she saw them out there for longer. This is a very brief video of them saturating the fence.
This is not the first time I have seen them hosing down an area for an extended time, but this is the first time it was in a purely public area. Having seen their post drug making cleanup work before, I figured they must have had a spill and needed to dilute the drug by saturating the area.
The fence being watered down and the soil that tested positive in on Stone Way and dozens of students walk that sidewalk daily going to and from Robert Eagle Staff Middle School.
I purchased a fentanyl strip test online so I could test the next day. My original plan was to test both the fence and the dirt next to the sidewalk. I ended up only needing to test the soil as the results came back positive.
We called 911 on June 16th at 5:15 PM with this information. Hours passed and no police were sent. After waiting for hours, we called back 911. We are working professionals, with my wife being a physician, and we need to care for patients in the morning. Based on our security cameras, it looks like the Seattle Police Department did show up around 1:49 AM. They knocked on the door of 1221 for some time and left around 1:56 AM. By 2:18 AM, the squatters were back to coming and going including bringing in backpacks, etc. The squatters have multiple cameras at the townhouse as well as having the windows to the front door and garage covered in construction paper. They know when it is the police at the door and simply do not answer.
We will try again to get them onsite to get our experience, see our documentation and hopefully take action.
We desperately wanted SPD to collect their own sample that night for testing so we could put an end to this nightmare.
Beyond that positive test, we have also seen activity looking like cleanup after possible drug creation activity. This night on June 18th was pretty nuts with just how brazen they were. I have made some edits/cuts to keep the video from being too long.
