Shenanigans continue out of 1221 N 88th St.
Below is a series of videos demonstrating the nuisance at 1221 N 88th St.
If you want to help, please call 911 if you witness any crime or nuisance. Seattle Police Department specifically states to call 911 if you witness something that is suspicious to YOU. Repeated calls to 911 related to a specific location or house creates a “hot spot” that makes it more likely for SPD to dispatch officers to that location for future calls. Want to really help? More after the videos.
For some background on those in the video. “Beanie Guy” is not a resident, but looks like someone there just to get high. “Skateboard Guy” is a resident who I have observed doing what looks like drug runs. Sadly, he also looks to be the primary caretaker of a puppy, which is just sad to think about. That poor puppy is probably subjected to extremely hazardous condition in that townhouse.
Important note:
I have heard reports of threatening calls being made to Maple Leaf Property Management and vandalism of property of the squatters at 1221 N 88th St. That is not kind, helpful or the goal of this page.
The goal of this entire page is to shed a light on what is occurring to resolve this by LEGAL and ethical means. So please. Do not cause physical harm or make threatening calls to businesses.
Just be consistent with 911 calls to SPD so they cannot ignore the situation at 1221.
